I had a super weekend this weekend! My husband and I participated in a bike race in Sedona, AZ to support Multiple Sclerosis, called BikeMS. It was a fabulous turnout – 800+ people! Saturday we biked 70 miles through the hills of Sedona, and on Sunday we biked 30 miles. Yep…I rode my bike 100 miles!! The weather and scenery were just gorgeous, but I’m a little sore now, LOL!! I was able to raise $405 towards the cause…my goal was $500, so I fell a little short. If you’re interested in donating, you still can! Just click here. You can donate any amount – even just $5 helps!
For any of you Some Odd Girl fans out there, I’m excited to say that I made through to round 3 of the Odd Idol Challenge! Here was my card for Round 2. Super excited to be a part of this fun challenge!! This card uses School Mae - isn’t she sweet?! I love how the yellow vellum looks over the red polka dot paper!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
It’s going to be a super short post today…it’s been a long night and I have a bit of a headache. I decided to color up this cute pup from Some Odd Girl for the Flutterby Challenge this week. This week is an open challenge, so all you need to do is use a butterfly or fairy on your card! Easy Peasy…hope you’ll join us!
And since the challenge at Simon Says Stamp is “things with wings”, I thought I’d throw my name in that hat over there as well!
I’m completely addicted to coloring these Some Odd Girl images! And I think I might be addicted to sketches too – seems like I’ve been doing a lot of those lately as well. I colored this cutie (Lazy Day Kaylee) last week and thought she deserved to go on a card. I used the new sketch for May at Some Odd Girl. I think I went a little too dark on the shadows of her nose, but I had so much fun on her dress I couldn’t bear to start over. I tried to give her on Ombre dress…whadaya think???
Some other challenges that inspired this card…
Bloggers Challenge – Feminine Touch
JellyPark Friends – Girly Challenge
Stampin’ for the weekend – die cuts or punches
As always, thanks for stopping by!!
Big Happy Hugs, Jami
