I really had a great time making this card. I am always so inspired by the beautiful creations that Becca makes with her Spellbinders, and really wanted to try something along those lines No stamps involved, just lots of shimmery, sparkly papers and textures. The metallic card stock on this is by Stardream in both cream and the aqua and embosses beautifully. I embossed the aqua panels with the textile Cuttlebug folder. I scored big time at the craft show in Mesa a couple weeks ago when ArcCrafts had a fill-your-box with cardstock for $17.99! Holy Cow!! Mine was jam packed full of metallics, kraft, and vellums!! I layered some Prima’s and added some little pearl accents.

Well she does’s at Club Anya this week….the challenge is Got Mono? As in monochromatic. I decided to go for a purely black and white (and grey) card for this one. This is the first time I’ve ever colored an image in black and white – what do you think? I used some of the new koala grey ultrafine FlowerSoft for her bouquet…fun stuff!!

SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Miss Anya Love (TGF)
Paper: black and white (DCWV)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Circle nesties, Fleur de Lis pendant die, Label #4 nesties, koala grey ultrafine FlowerSoft, Zva pearls, satin ribbon
Copics: C1, C3, C5, C7, C9
Sorry, I just couldn’t resist that title! I love the fun fun fun stamp sets at Skipping Stones! This is from the Funny Bras Vol #1 set. The humor is totally my style! I thought I would play along in the MoJo Monday Sketch #123 this week – my favorite – circle cards!!! What a fun sketch too!

I blinged up this cute bra with some Copic marker, stickles and a zva rhinestone. I also sprayed the white lace with barn door Shimmerz Spritz for some more sparkle. You can never have too much sparkle!! This print paper is one of my favorites from the Nook and Pantry pad.
The inside got a few more rhinestones. Isn’t this sentiment just the greatest?!?! I love it!!
I’ll be back on Monday with my Copic Creations Challenge card.
Hugs, Jami

I had so much fun doing a couple of challenges today with my new Miss Rosalie Swiss Pixie! Isn’t she just the sweetest?? I wanted to make a Valentines card, but didn’t want to use the standard pinks and reds…so the challenge at OCCC was perfect – blues and greens. I pulled out my Nook and Pantry papers and started there. I paper pieced Rosalie’s dress with the same paper, adding a bit of copic for shading (on the heart too). This great sketch is from the Clearly Inspired Challenge #5 Those perfectly matched pearls along the bottom are from the new Zva Wheel Container. I love this little container – you get lots of little pearls in different colors for just a couple dollars!

{{Please click the above picture to see it really close up so you can really see the sparkle!!}}
And I just LOVE these little flowers! Here’s a great hint for these…. get the package of white flowers (you get 100 of them for about $6 – gonga deal!) Then, just use your favorite color Spritz (check out all the colors here) to add color and sparkle. I spritzed these each with a squirt of Eucalyptus Shimmerz Spritz! Voila…sparkly flowers in the color you want!! The flourishes were cut on my Cricut with the Seranade cartridge, and the heart is a Nestabilities with a bit of BG10 Copic around the edge.
OK… for those of you interested…here’s me on my new bike! We went for a ride today and I am totally in love with this bike, it rides like a dream and corners like no other bike I’ve ridden. I was in heaven!
