It’s going to be a super short post today…it’s been a long night and I have a bit of a headache. I decided to color up this cute pup from Some Odd Girl for the Flutterby Challenge this week. This week is an open challenge, so all you need to do is use a butterfly or fairy on your card! Easy Peasy…hope you’ll join us!
And since the challenge at Simon Says Stamp is “things with wings”, I thought I’d throw my name in that hat over there as well!

The challenge this week at Flutterby Wednesday is to use the theme of wedding, anniversary, or love. Why you ask? Well, today is our fearless leader Danni‘s 14th wedding anniversary!! Happy Anniversary Danni!!
We also have a sponsor this week for the challenge – A Day for Daisies. So many cute digi’s and clear stamps to work with. I thought this digi was appropriate for a love theme…the sentiment was just added with photoshop when I printed the image.
Can you believe I made a ONE-LAYER card?!? I just loved how the branch in this image looked like it was sticking out in the air, and I wanted to keep that airy feeling. I used some heavy GinaK Pure Luxury (120 lb heavy base weight) card stock so that there was no bleed through with the Copics. I don’t usually use this for Copics because I find it hard to cut out my images, which I like to do a lot, but it works perfect for one-layer cards!!

Ooops, this should have been posted this morning but somehow I managed to lose a day. Actually, I think I may have lost a week, LOL. Some day I’ll get caught up on things, really!
The challenge this week at Flutterby Wednesday Challenge is to use a sentiment on your card (and of course a butterfly or fairy). I am always buying the $1 StudioG stamps at Michaels. I just love the little sentiments, and this is one of those. I paired it up with this sweet image, Ava, from Saturated Canary. I adore coloring these images!! And this digi is only $2 – seriously, can you believe you can get that much sweetness for a couple bucks?!?!
The challenge at Saturated Canary is Anything Goes… I think this qualifies. :-)
