A Little Note

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas!  Ours was quiet but wonderful.  My sister and brother-in-law were in town, and will be back for New Years which is just wonderful!!  Santa brought me a new Wacom Tablet which I am overjoyed about.  I’ve been playing with it a little and trying to figure it out.

I thought it would be fun to do a little “just because” card. I wanted to make something not holiday-ish. I used Karen’s Sweet Sunday Sketch. I just got my Sugar Rush paper and had to use it! I adore all the Basic Grey papers – I think they are my all time favorites. I love the two new ones – Sugar Rush and Origins.  Sugar Rush must be pretty popular, cause 7Kids just got it in last week and it looks like it’s sold out already!  I’m sure there will be more in soon.

I used this sweet little Flower Bear from Stampavie – isn’t he sweet?  I colored the roses my favorite peach and yellow, then used a Spica glitter pen to add little glittery blue dots.  This card totally puts me in the mood for Spring!  Arizona doesn’t get too terribly cold, we barely hit freezing this week at night, but the sun always comes back out and warms things up during the day.  I think next week we’re supposed to be back in the high 60’s, low 70’s…so I really can’t complain.
