Monochromatic Thank You

This is the first time I’ve done a monochromatic card, and I really like the look.  I will have to do this again soon!!  I started this card with the TGF challenge in mind – to do a monochromatic card.  Then I saw the fun sketch at CCEE, so I used that for my sketch.  Then I saw the Cute Card Thursday challenge to use flowers, and really, who can resist flowers?!  So, this is what I came up with…

Here’s a close up where you can see the glaze on the apple to make it shiny, and the bit of sparkle on her skirt with the copic @you pen.  I also used this pen to dot all the middles of the flowers in the DP.

I did tell you guys that 7KidsCollegeFund will be carrying all the Greeting Farm stamps…right?  I am super excited about this.  There are even three brand new images that you’ll only be able to get from the stores that ordered at CHA!  They’re so cute, and will be available at 7KidsCollegeFund!

Also, I removed the Google Friend Connect from my sidebar.  Ever since I installed it, my website has slowed way down.  I’m hoping this resolves it…. Sorry for those of you who added yourself as my friend.  You can still follow me by subscribing to my posts (link at top right of page)  Thanks!
