I wasn’t planning on making a card today, but now that I’ve caught the crafty bug I figured “why not”?! I used the sketch for the MFT Guest Designer Contest again, but this time I flipped it on it’s side. Can you tell it’s the same sketch?
This time I thought I’d make a masculine Valentine. I tend to struggle with masculine cards because I thoroughly enjoy ribbons and flowers. Well, I did sneak in some floral paper on this, and a Sentimental Flourish. I think it’s still pretty manly, don’t you?
My inspiration for the floral and the colors came from the SCS Inspiration Challenge today. This photo was my inspiration. That’s where it started anyway. Then it turned manly, and I added some copper accents to make the colors pop more. The stamp is yet another from the Triple Scoop (so addicted to this set!) and it was stamped in Versamark, then I used Ranger white embossing puffs to give it some soft texture.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m off for a long bike ride with my hubby now!
