Fresh Starts and New Beginnings

So, what happened to the old blog? I had originally created it to share my creative endeavors; however, it grew into other areas of my life and to be honest, I lost control of it. I simply tried to squeeze too much into too small of a space. I tried to make it a journal of my day to day life, a family photo album, and also my craft space. It just didn’t work. So, here I am back at it. I’ve renamed it to “Stamp Happy!” Why? Well, because that’s how I feel when I stamp… it’s my stress relief, it’s my sanity, and it’s one way that I can share myself with others.

What will the blog be all about now? It shall be what it originally intended to be – my craft space. For those of you who are looking for family photos and updates on the kids, feel free to email me, or look me up on FaceBook or MySpace where I try to upload current photos of the kids on a regular basis. For those folks that stumbled upon something I created on Splitcoast Stampers, or maybe somewhere else and just want to get a bit more info on how I did it… well, you’re in the right place!

Now, I can’t promise that you won’t find any tidbits of my personal life here. It’s just who I am and how I write. And, c’mon, you have to admit that while we all enjoy stamping or crafting, a little bit of us ends up in each creation. That’s part of the reason we enjoy it. So, you’ll hear a little about me know and then. I hope that won’t scare you away.

Having said all of that, it will be a couple weeks before I’m back to posting my cards and such. We’ve just arrived here in South Korea and hope to be moving into our apartment this Friday. I’m crossing my fingers, and hoping real hard, that the movers will be delivering our stuff (to include ALL my craft supplies) next week. In the mean time, I’ll be cleaning up this blog page, adding links to some of the blogs that I like to stalk, and when I happen upon something that really strikes me, I’ll be sure to share it with you all.

Thanks for checking out my blog!!

Congratulations on your move to a new base! We moved to Ohio on the same date! We’re an Air Force family and my DH is going to AFIT here at WPAFB. I hope you enjoy Korea – that’s where I met my DH (Taegu AB) just a few short years ago (19 to be exact!) I actually liked living there and would love to go back for a visit! I can relate though to a comment you made in another entry – driving over there is very hairy! I only took taxis for that whole year I was there! Good luck! Happy shopping too!!
