About Me

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Although it looks as if I just started blogging, this blog actually started back in 2008 when I started stamping.  After three years of blogging and posting, I moved my domain to a new hosting service and in the process managed to lose my blog content.  That’s OK…it’s an opportunity to start fresh and clean up a bit.  But when you see things like  my stat counter, it may not make sense when I only have a few posts…well, now you know.

I am married to the most tolerant and supportive man on the face of the Earth.  He supports all my crafty habits, and other habits too and takes interest in all I do.  I couldn’t ask for a better hubby.  We’ve been married for over 22 years now – it was love at first sight.  I met him when we were both in the Army, we dated for three weeks, and then got married.  My entire family thought I was crazy, but I knew he was the one for me.

We’ve been a military family for almost our entire marriage.  My hubby retired from the Army after 22 years of service, and now works as an Army Civilian.  We’ve had the opportunity to travel all over the world, and have lived in Germany and South Korea during our time in the military.  I have two wonderfully smart and talented boys – ages 20 and 17 at the time I am writing this.  I could not be more proud of the young men they have become.  My oldest is married to a wonderful young woman I am proud to call my daughter-in-law.   We also have 2 kitties (Kenpo and TIger) and a black lab (Shadow).

Besides playing in my craft room, I also enjoy playing on the computer.  I’m a techie and a geek and proud of it.  In my lifetime I have had a variety of jobs, from being a systems engineer working on defense contracts to being an interior designer and running my own business.  I’m currently working as the Director of Facilities at Bookmans – Arizona’s largest used bookstore chain.

In my spare time (I do have a little) I enjoy learning karate with my son.  We practice Kenpo at AKKA USA.  We enjoy it thoroughly and have made many new friends.   I also enjoy playing golf with my husband when we get the chance.  That’s the highlights of me….hopefully if you visit me here on my blog you will get to know me a little better, and I will get to know you too!

Thanks for taking a minute to get to know me.  Please leave a comment and tell me a little about YOU… be sure to leave a link to your blog or website if you have one so I can stop by and visit you too!

    Hi Jami,
Last year I d/l a beautiful Easter digi you offered for free that has a cross and 2 bunnies. It’s still my favorite Easter image of all time, and after making and sending an Easter card to a friend this week using it, she just asked me where I got the image and how she can get one – she loves it! I don’t share digi images without permission, so I wondered if it’s possible you might have it available somewhere for her?
    Thanks so much :)
